Damage

Damage temporarily reduces Health.

Each point of Damage causes a -1 Pain penalty until healed.

Successful Attack do Damage = [ ( Attack total - target's Defense ) + Weapon Damage ] - Armor Absorption.

If Damage from one Attack before Armor Absorption is subtracted is greater than your Constitution, you fall Prone.

Damage can be healed during Recovery.

Absorption

Every piece of Armor offers some amount of Absorption.

Absorption reduces the amount of Damage inflicted on any Body Part that piece of Armor is worn upon.

Armor loses 1 point of Absorption each time it takes Damage that exceeds it's current Absorption rating.

Fire

Each Round you take Damage from Fire, 1 point is permanent and never heals.

Only Fire-Resistant Armor reduces Damage from Fire.
